Welcome to BowWow Haus London 2018
BowWow Haus London is a remarkable fundraising and creative collaboration between pet charity Blue Cross, American not-for-profit organisation Outdoor Arts Foundation and photographer Drew Gardner. A network of architects, artists and designers have created bespoke dog kennels displayed throughout London from 19 March 2018 for the first ever public exhibit and auction of artistic dog kennels in Britain. Around 65 one-off dog kennels are on show at several London venues, including St Pancras International and Stratford International, and will be available to buy at a charity auction or via online bids.
Inspirational names on board include the internationally famous Zaha Hadid Architects, renowned mosaic artist Ivan Djidev and multi-award winning industrial designers from Comprogear.
We are very excited about the designs coming to life in London and that so many talented architects and designers are taking part in this memorable collaboration which ranges from chic and minimalist creations to kennels ablaze with colour and decoration.
Blue Cross
Blue Cross is a charity that has been helping sick, injured, abandoned and homeless pets since 1897. Each year, thousands of cats, dogs, small pets and horses turn to the charity’s animal hospitals, clinics and rehoming services for treatment and to find them the happy homes they deserve. In the past year, Blue Cross helped almost 43,000 sick, injured and homeless pets, reached over 86,000 pet owners of the future through educational talks and played a vital role in supporting those who lost a loved pet.
Outdoor Arts Foundation
Established in 2002, the Outdoor Arts Foundation is a U.S. based not-for-profit community based arts organisation working with various groups and individuals to develop art projects for public display.
The organisation hosted a BowWow Haus event in Tampa Bay, Florida, in 2004; the very first exhibition of one-off designer kennels.
